Circle of Seven Productions offers services in two categories. There are services you can expect with your video products and services you can add for your overall marketing campaign. 

Our “Statement of Services” gives you an idea of the services you get with your video product that you may not even be aware of. They’re important because this is what sets COS apart and what makes your book video more effective.

 

STATEMENT OF SERVICES

  • Production Service.  Your book video is being created by experienced, professional editors.  These editors have been trained with a specialty in book promotions.  They bring their years of experience creating television commercials, music videos, short films and feature films to the publishing industry.  As you know, there are rules of writing and our production staff is taught those rules so they can correctly convey them on screen.  We have the top the book video editors in the country and beyond. Our production service is a perfect blend of publishing and production.
  • Customer Service.  We have someone looking out for your best interest.  A COS customer service representative is there to help you determine what products and services are best for you.  They also follow up later on when you don’t even know it and they identify new distribution potentials for your video.  For example, when new distribution is made available someone will review your video to see if it fits the distribution criteria and your video will be distributed further without any additional cost to you. Also, when we have specials or even free products, as we often do for established clients, someone will contact you to let you know of those opportunities. Once a client, always a client and YOU benefit from our hard work in promoting reading and marketing book video.
  • Our distribution department is full time and always working.  We continually review the landscape of social media sites to ensure that your video is on the best site with the greatest potential for quality views.  We aren’t just looking to bring you the most views, we look for readers and buyers.  We are constantly blogging, posting bulletins and interacting on the social media sites where your video lives so that we bring new eyes to your video before, during and after your book is released.
  • Outreach.  We are continually looking to bring in new and occasional readers to the world of book entertainment.   • Interactive and Active.  COS has created an online web presence that is reader friendly, bookseller friendly, media friendly and author friendly. We enjoy a wonderful reputation that you benefit from.  We stay in contact with booksellers and the media, growing relationships for your successes.  We are active on the social media sites we use so that Joe Reader has learned to trust us, like us and want to know more about what we’re doing. And what we’re doing is promoting your book! If you don’t have time to create and maintain online relationships, or if you don’t want to be the “salesman” for your book, COS can do that for you with a trusted web presence.

Though many other companies may offer the same services we do, we have a more personal atmosphere and invested interest in our relationship with you.

We only offer our services to customers who have COS videos.  We do this for your benefit.  Offering our services only to those who have COS products give us the ability to be more efficient.

  • We have created your video we already know a lot about you, your series, brand and/or book.
  • We have your video so we have a tool that we are intimately familiar with.
  • We specialize in book video so we’re able to match the services we offer to a niche market, that of online visuals for books and those people who love them.
  • We have a limited number of clients. We aren’t offering these services to the masses. These specialized services are offered only to COS clients who have COS products.  We are able to spend more time on your service, your campaign and your needs.
  • Your product makes us partners.  We will work hard to get your video noticed, your book promoted and get your name and brand known.  We know that if you see success, you’ll come back.  So we have a vested interest in the performance of your online marketing campaign.

No one is going to hard sell you additional services.  No one will tell you that your video works better with XYZ service. Your video will be effective no matter what. But, our services do enhance your campaign and we are the experts at utilizing book video for promotions. Your video is a tool that we know how to use well!

ADDITIONAL SERVICES

Additional services are available for COS clients.

  • Publicity

(note: we can also work with your traditional publicist or marketing team utilizing our online experience, resources and contacts)
Publicity includes the video book review and distribution. It also includes blogging, monitoring your book video’s performance and making changes as needed. Someone will consult with you to determine what other needs and opportunities there are for you or your book/brand.

  • Formatting for TV or Movie Theaters. Formatting to ensure broadcast quality requires extra work.  But, it allows you to create a relatively inexpensive commercial for broadcast use. (note: formatting does not include the price of media buys/television spots)
  • DVD Creation. Includes DVD authoring and copies.  We put you in touch with our DVD affiliate and help you make arrangements to have multiple DVDs made. These are great to send to sales teams, booksellers and fans!
  • Send media kits, such as printing, books, postage, etc. to 5 TV shows such as Good Morning America, This does not include creating the kit for you. If you need a media kit created please contact us.
  • MySpace Blog Ad (feature you, a review, your book, your video and where to by on the COS MySpace blog!)
  • One time marketing strategy consultation. For those without publicists or marketing consultants. Or if you want your publicist or marketing consultant to speak to use directly on your behalf, that can also be arranged.
  • Between Your Sheets newsletter (includes feature in newsletter, featured on their site for a week, then placement on their site for 6 months) www.betweenyoursheets.com
  • Online Video Book Review. Distributed to Amazon.com, Veoh, REC TV, Current TV and Brightcove.

Note: Please know that COS works through publicists and marketing teams, so your publisher or publicist may be getting COS discounts. Check with your publicist or publishers to find out if they have a contract or agreement with COS if you’re looking for discounts on products or services.
